Starfish
Aardvark - a word I first came across when I was a pupil. A much cleverer and wittier pupil than me written this on his satchel. I think it was some sort of play on words as in school being hard work or something but I never had the courage to ask !
“In the beginning, there was a word and the word was AARDVARK”
As I understand it, aardvark is generally considered the first word in most English dictionaries because it comes first alphabetically.
And of course, “Aardvarks are medium-sized, burrowing, nocturnal mammals native to Africa”
Meet Arry, the Aardvark ![]()
Gravity –the force which attracts a body to any other physical body that has mass. If you dropped a hammer and a feather at the same time, which would reach the ground first? The hammer right?
Wrong. They would land at the same time.
The reason things look like they fall at different rates is due to air acting on them. This was shown when an astronaut performed the test on the moon, which is airless.
Simply cannot resist sharing this on the back of your post and the beautiful yellow colours …
I’ll leave it others to continue with the next word (for now)!
