For the past 4 years I’ve felt as if I’m dead but alive, The old me did in fact die the night I had the stroke,Because that person is gone. In her place is a living feeling woman whose life has been on hold. I’m a butterfly emerging from my crysalis more beautiful and stronger than ever, revived and given a second chance. But like a butterfly my life has been on hold for the last 4 years.
I’m stronger now than I’ve ever been. It hasn’t been easy, but perhaps it was necessary to show me how lucky I was and to never take things foregranted
The simple things in life are so very perfect, from a good coffee at a nice café, to a meal at a nice restaurant with your family, to a walk in the park with your dog, Treasure those moments, because one day it can all be taken away from you in the blink of an eye. Hold those you love close, you just don’t know when/if they’ll be taken from you. because one day they could be gone! I haven’t always been kind to those I love sometimes lashing out wanting more, angry that life has continued as normal for them, not appreciating theipain and anguish that the stroke has caused them.

Thank you, Michelle, for your thoughts. Everything you said is so true. The stroke changed my outlook too–much like your change. In a way, I’m grateful for the stroke–it woke me up to what’s important.

Well, I’m not sure if “nano” is used that way, but it is used as a prefix.( Example: The filter is made of up nano fibers.)

Sun - a star that is the center of a planetary system. Our existence depends on our sun. Many of us think of our sun as a happy friend that makes the plants to grow and keeps us warm.
We are so dependent on this awesome center of energy and so small compared to it.
