Nebula - a place where aliens hide.
Aardvark - a word I first came across when I was a pupil and which a pupil had written on his satchel. I think it was some sort of play on words as in school being hard work or something but I never had the courage to ask !
On the trivia note, aardvark is generally considered the first word in most English dictionaries because it comes first alphabetically.
UPDATE:
My brain takes a while to retrieve information and 24 hrs or so later, the exact quote from the boys satchel was
“In the beginning, there was a word and the word was AARDVARK”
And of course, “Aardvarks are medium-sized, burrowing, nocturnal mammals native to Africa”
