Another word game - Saw this and thought of you lot!

I can vouch for that. After falling over about 15 years ago my kneecap is still not right

Potato something to have for dinner. We’re having mashed potatoes tonight but I also like roast potatoes & jacket potatoes & boiled & new potatoes. Actually I just like potatoes in all their guises :grin::grin:

Ornithologist - one who studies or is an expert on birds [of the feathered kind].

A recent study (which I cannot find right now) suggests that potatoes are superfood !! And I am not talking about sweet potatoes (which are also considered super foods).

So I have increased my consumption of potatoes and do vary the recipes to have roast, steamed or mashed potatoes including in bakes e.g. cauliflower cheese etc.

Grapes a tasty fruit that comes in red, green or black varieties. I have them with my breakfast a lot but they can also be used for wine making & if they dry up they become raisins.

Soup-needs no explanation. Many kinds can be made and enjoyed. My favorite is home made pea soup- served with cheese slices and crackers.

Plonk - aka cheap wine.

Kangaroo a very bouncy marsupial often found in Australia

**Okra-**To me --a slimy, disgusting vegetable (but good for you, I hear).

Acronym abbreviations used instead of writing out the full words each time. You have to be careful though as one acronym can mean 2 or more different things depending on the context.

Megalith - large stone structures, some prehistoric. Very fascinating.
Not to be confused with Monolith

My favourite megalith structure.

@axnr911 - Jeanne, Okras are delicious. Stuffed okras are one of my favourites and they are definitely good for you. I guess I cannot tempt you to try them with a simple recipe?

Hoyty-toyty - a bit stuck up, snobby.

Edible --unlike poisonous mushrooms, but like the good ones that can be eaten.

ManjiB, I’m afraid that my experience with okra has damaged me for good. I cannot be tempted even with a recipe to consume something that to me does not seem Edible

Rambunctious – means “boisterous and disorderly”-- Sounds like the definition of many small kids at some time in their lives. :girl: :boy: :person_running: :woman_running: :man_running:

Now there’s a word.

Salad what I have just eaten for lunch. Rabbits like a bit of salad leaves too.

Desert A sweet “reward” food(?) , and what I had for lunch yesterday. Every few weeks we go out for frozen yogurt in place of a more nutritious lunch. :ice_cream: P.S. I do sprinkle the top with peanuts to add protein. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Oh everyone needs a treat now and again.:grin::grin:

Treat something we like that we wouldn’t normally have.

Taco One of our favorite meals. We have them quite often for dinner. Since we’re vegetarians, instead of ground meat, we use a soy based ground meat substitute that is so delicious, you’d think it was the reat thing.
